Henry Vuong, 68, of Salem, NH a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Sept. 3rd at Brigham and Women's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Vietnam, Henry immigrated to the United States at the age of 22 embarking on a new chapter with courage and determination. He carried with him a deep connection to his childhood sweetheart, whom he had known since they were 13 years old. Their enduring love story blossomed into a beautiful marriage of 46 years, filled with shared adventures and unwavering devotion.

Henry was a man of many passions. He enjoyed Tae Kwon Do, meditation, playing the string bass and his work as an engineer. He began his career as a CNC machinist with Modicon and Nefor, before moving to Ken-Mar, where he was a CNC programmer and manufacturing engineer. Henry then joined Dynamic Flowform as an engineer manufacturing parts for the Aerospace, Defense, Medical, and Oil & Gas Industries, which eventually became ATI Flowform. After retiring, he decided he missed working, so he went back to work for Ken-Mar as an inspector in Salem, NH.

Henry cherished spending time with his grandchildren, delighting in their laughter and creating memories through play and storytelling. Henry traveled the world exploring the cultures of Australia, Malaysia, Turkey, Bali, Indonesia and China. A gifted linguist, Henry spoke six languages fluently.

Henry leaves behind his devoted wife, Quan Vuong of Salem, NH; his two daughters, Jennifer and husband Walter "Andrew" Crosson, II who are posted overseas in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Sharon Vuong and husband Michael Miller, Jr. of  Downingtown, PA; his five granddaughters, Annabelle, Katherine, Elisabeth, Eliza and Kiera.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 9:30 am – 12 noon followed by a funeral service at noon at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
