Houda L. Wakim, 71, of Salem, NH passed away at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center after a period of declining health.

She grew up in Lebanon and she came to the United States in 1983. Houda enjoyed taking care of her home, listening to music and coloring. She loved family celebrations and spending time with children. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Methuen, MA and she loved attending services.

Houda will be deeply missed by her loving mother, Mary Wakim of Salem, NH; her 5 devoted brothers, George Wakim and his wife Lorna of Methuen, MA, Kameel Wakim and wife Hiba of Salem, NH, Samuel Wakim of Salem, NH, Elie Wakim and his wife Stephanie of Salem, NH and Ramzi Wakim and wife Marianne of Hampton, NH and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 14th from 4:00 –  7:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will be Friday, November 15th at 10:30     AM at Fellowship Bible Church, 1 Fellowship Way, Methuen, MA. Please arrive by 10:15 AM.    Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence, MA
