James Dorr, 65, of Ocala, Fl, passed away at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital after a period of declining health.

Jim grew up and was educated in Salem. He was a proud athlete in the special Olympics where he played basketball. James also loved traveling, going out to eat with his friends and family, skiing, track & field, and drawing.

Jim will be deeply missed by his devoted guardians Richard & Barbie Wallace; his brother Michael (Kathy) Horan; his sisters Kathy (Michael) McCool, Marie (Richard) Vollemans and Claire Segien; his nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Marion and Charles Dorr and Michael and Nora Horan.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6th from 9:00 to 10:45 at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Road, Salem, NH.  Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow, NH.
