James F. Epperson, 80, died peacefully on June 3, 2018 at home surrounded by family after a long illness. He was born in 1937 to Bernice and James Epperson of Yakima, Washington. He served 3 years as an officer in the US Army and then was employed as an engineer by the Monsanto Company for 30 years.

Jim was a faithful Catholic and 40 year member of Saint Matthew's Church in Windham. He served his community at Shepherds Pantry, NH Food Bank, Lazarus House, and he supported many other ministries.

Jim is survived by his wife Betty of 58 years, sons James and wife Kimberly, Thomas and wife Judi and daughter Kathryn and husband Robert Massey. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Niki, Meghan and husband Ricky Crespo, Kellie and husband Ryan Bogolin, and Daryn and Jared Epperson and by his sister; Mary Elizabeth Bastasch and her husband Robert.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 9:30am to 11:00am in St. Matthew Parish, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00am in the church. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry, NH.
