Janet Blazon, 82, of Salem, NH passed away on July 3rd at Artis Senior Living of Reading.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Leon "Don" Blazon.

Janet was born in Newburyport, MA, the only daughter of Ann and Alyre Dube graduating from Newburyport High School and Burdett College in Lynn, MA.

She met her best friend, Don Blazon while working as a secretary at General Electric and they enjoyed 57 wonderful years together.  Jan enjoyed being involved in the community at the Salem Boys and Girls Club, as a Girl Scouts leader and an administrative assistant at Catholic Charities Counsel.

In their retirement, she and Don enjoyed traveling in their camper, riding motorcycles with Don's various clubs, her friends at the Salem Athletic Club, and spending time with their grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Blazon of Haverhill, MA and three grandchildren: Nathan Blazon Brown and his wife Judy Tran of Lowell, Autumn Blazon Brown and her husband Stephen Zubricki of Medford, Alyre Blazon Brown of Tewksbury and their father Raymond Brown and his wife Julieann of Medford.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church, 15 Lawrence Road, Salem, NH.
