Amesbury
Jason Michael Tiner, 42, of Amesbury, MA, beloved father, son, and brother passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 26, 2022. He was the oldest of three sons born to Michael S. Tiner and Elizabeth (Breen) Tiner. He was raised in Salem, NH and was a 1998 graduate of Salem High School.
Jason earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Keene State College in 2004. He worked successfully as a business software salesperson for many years before directing his talents to the luxury travel industry, helping many realize their passion for travel, which he too shared. He had an adventurous spirit and traveled the world extensively without reservation or fear. He loved all sports and was a proud New England sports fan. He played football, basketball, and baseball for Salem youth leagues and Salem High School. While in college, he played rugby and learned to love snowboarding. He enjoyed playing golf with family and friends and especially liked playing alongside his two younger brothers in a men's baseball league where they celebrated a championship season.
Jason truly loved spending time with his extended, loving family. His greatest joy was being with his beautiful twin daughters, whom he loved wholeheartedly, and of whom he was so proud. Sunday dinners and their outings together with his longtime girlfriend Jamie meant the world to him. They all loved to laugh and play together.
Jason enjoyed his role as the firstborn of his brothers and many cousins. He loved them deeply and was fiercely loyal and protective. He adored his grandparents, aunts and uncles and the many conversations and good times spent with everyone. Jason had a zest for life, a sparkling smile and wonderful sense of humor. He was charming and engaging with a bright, curious mind. Loved by so many, our beautiful boy will be missed, his loss is profound and immeasurable.
Jason is survived by his twin daughters Raegan and Brooke Tiner, his parents Michael and Elizabeth Tiner of Atkinson, NH; his brothers and their children, Eric R. Tiner and his children Eva and Sam of Manteo, NC; Andrew P. Tiner and his wife Jaci and their daughter Amelia of Londonderry, NH; and his longtime girlfriend, light of his life, Jamie Donkin. He also leaves his grandmother, Sandra Breen of Salem, NH as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Calling hours will be private. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass to be held Monday, June 6 th at 11:00am at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Road, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem NH
A college education was one of Jason's greatest priorities for his daughters Raegan and Brooke. In lieu of flowers, Jason would have liked to be remembered through donations to the College Savings fund. Those wishing to contribute may go to
