Jean S. Cummings, 90, of Salem, NH passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 in the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Burlington, MA. She was a resident of Salem for the last 12 years, formerly living in South Lawrence, MA. She was born in Lawrence, a daughter of the late John and Antonina (Stafciute) Salovitch.

She graduated from Lawrence High School, a member of the Pioneers of AT&T, a Union Stewart for Local #2321 of the I.B.E.W. Mrs. Cummings worked as an operator for New England Telephone, prior to it becoming AT&T. She was also a communicant of Mary Queen of Peace, Salem.

She is survived by two daughters; Judith A. Cummings of Salem and Pamela Bergeron of North Carolina and by two grandchildren; Paula and Robert and by her great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Cummings and by her daughter; Paula Dumais.
