Jeanette Piwowarski, 94, of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday, December 13th at Salemhaven.
She grew up in Nashua, the daughter of the late Alice and Albert Reardon. She graduated from Nashua High School. Jeanette spent decades nourishing generations of children as a lunch lady in several area school, always with a warm smile. Jeanette found joy in simple pleasures, savoring corn on the cob, pastries, and enjoying dinner at T Bones. She enjoyed crocheting cozy treasures while listening to the smooth voice of Frank Sinatra or admiring the charm of William Shatner. A devoted New England Patriots and Red Sox fan, she cheered through every victory and heartbreak. A woman of deep faith, Jeanette loved God with all her heart and poured that same boundless love into her family. She delighted in serving home-cooked meals – especially the cherished Polish recipes, passed down from her mother-in-law. Nothing made her happier that doting on her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jeanette leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.
She will be deeply missed by her 4 children, Janet Higley and husband Lin of Troy, MI, Michael Piwowarski of Northfield Falls, VT, Ann Epright and partner Robert Clark of Salem, NH and Joanne Berthel and partner, John Laliberty; her brother, Robert Reardon of VA; her 5 grandchildren, Jessica Buckley and husband Peter, Sarah Epright, Colin Higley, Norman Berthel, III and Ariel Berthel; her 3 great grandchildren, Benjamin, Daniel and Claire Buckley and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Alice Reardon and her siblings, Albert Reardon Jr. and Thelma "Terry" Underwood.
Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 27th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH 03079.
