Joan C. Nisbet, 80 years old of Salem, NH passed away on April 12th 2020 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Joan was born in Windsor VT and grew up in Waltham, MA where she graduated class of 1957. That same year she married her high school sweetheart, Arthur, with whom she shared 61 wonderful years with and had 3 children. Joan loved to travel, from cruise ships to the camper, she was always ready for a change of scenery. She spent her winters in Hollywood, Florida with Arthur, and they traveled back to Salem to spend summers on the lake with her family. Joan has started and carried on many traditions in her family that will be cherished and passed on from generation to generation. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, hosting cookouts at the lake, and spending time with the people she loved.

She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Nisbet, and two of her grandsons Scott and Shawn Nisbet.

She is survived by her sister Edith Dudley and her husband Eric, her brother Craig Champion and his wife Judy. Her 3 children, Lee Ann Terescik and her husband John, Thomas A. Nisbet and his wife Minson and Mary Grace Manter and her husband David. Her 4 grandchildren, Arika Schultz, Aaron Schultz and his wife Jachael, Nick Hodgdon and his girlfriend Jessica, and Jake Terescik. 3 great grandchildren, Hannah Lee, Alyvia and Sara Schultz
