John "Jack" E. Guimond, 82 of Salem, NH passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at his home in Salem.  He was born in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Maurice and Rose (Desrochers) Guimond.

Jack loved the ocean, especially fishing.  He owned and operated Gloucester Seafood on Milton Street in Lawrence, MA for close to 20 years.  He supplied his store himself, fishing on his boats, Pep-Sea Two and Fin & Claw.  Jack later went on to be a seafood monger/manager for Atlantic Supermarkets, retiring in 2011.  He loved his golden retrievers who would sometimes accompany him on his fishing boats and was also so very proud of his two grandsons.

He is survived by his sons; Paul D. Guimond and his wife Marybeth of Lowell, MA and John D. Guimond of Houston, TX, by his two grandsons; Brian Guimond of Lowell and Nicolas Guimond of Houston.  He is also survived by his siblings; Raymond Guimond and his wife Nancy of Franklin, NH, Anne Marquis and her husband Brian of Hollis, NH, Thomas Guimond and his wife Lorraine of Tampa, FL. and Joseph Guimond and his wife Mary of Auburn, NH, by many nieces and nephews and by his good friend; Barbara of Salem, NH.  He was predeceased by his wife; Judith L. (Gifford) Guimond and by his son; Robert M. Guimond.
