John V. "Jack" Reilly, 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 with his family by his side.

Jack was born October 7, 1948 to the late John and Eileen Reilly at Clover Hill Hospital in Lawrence, MA. After residing in Methuen, MA for his early childhood, Jack's family moved to Salem, NH where he graduated from Salem High School in 1966. Jack went on to graduate from New England College and later served in the US Army as a military policeman in the Panama Canal. He continued his law enforcement career at the Lawrence Police Department where he retired as Sergeant.

Jack was a long-time resident of North Andover, MA and was an avid New England sports fan. He enjoyed traveling and summering at the family's Salisbury beach house.

Jack was predeceased by his sister, Ann McLellan, and brother, Danny Reilly. He leaves behind his sister, Elaine Lavoie of Atkinson, NH; his brother, Mark Reilly of New York, NY and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service for Jack will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH 03079. Please arrive by 10:45 AM. Donations in Jack's name may be sent to Homeland Heroes Foundation, 10 Delaware Dr # 1, Salem, NH 03079
