John H. Mellor, 77, of Salem, NH passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the High Pointe House, Haverhill, MA with his loving family by his side. He was born in Somerville, MA, a son of the late James and Agnes (Noonan) Mellor.

Mr. Mellor was a resident of Salem for the past 47 years. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Raytheon for 45 years. He was a great husband, father and grandfather and loved his family as they meant the world to him. Mr. Mellor enjoyed traveling and taking trips with his wife and family and he was also an avid woodworker.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years; Nancy G. Mellor of Salem, his son; James B. Mellor and his wife Heather L. of Deerfield, NH, his daughter; Rebecca G. Nelson and her husband Michael D. of Barrington, NH and by his two grandchildren; Abigail Nelson and Emanuel Mellor. He is also survived by two brothers; William Mellor and Paul Mellor, by four sisters; Ellynn Walker, Roberta Perry, Claire Conlon and Shirley Walles and also by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers; Edward and Joseph Mellor and by his sister; Joanne Burke.
