John A. Noetzel, Jr., 85, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at his home with his loving family.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late John A. Sr. and Anna Noetzel.

Mr. Noetzel was raised in Philadelphia and made Salem, NH, his home for 57 years.  He proudly served his country after the Korean War as a member of the U.S. Army Signal Corps specializing in radar repair.  He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from New Hampshire College.  Mr. Noetzel worked for Raytheon for 36 years, retiring as Logistics Engineering Manager. His work took him throughout the world.  He was a strong family man, his family was his life.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years; by his three children and son-in-law; by his four grandchildren; and by his brother and sister-in-law and their extended family.

Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, the services will be private for the family.  Burial with military honors will be held in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the NH Food Bank, 700 East Industrial Park Drive , Manchester, NH, 03109.
