Joyce Crockett, 74, of Salem, NH passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at her home.  She was born, raised and educated in Haverhill, MA, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Glancy) Thomas.

Joyce moved to Salem from Haverhill 10 years ago.  She worked for Salemhaven Nursing Home for many years as a nurse's aide.  She was currently working at Market Basket in Salem as a cashier.  While living in Haverhill Joyce was also a crossing guard for many years.  She loved to write, knit, sew and was a very generous person throughout her life.

She is survived by her three sisters; Faith Jameson of Chelmsford, MA, Pamela Fahrenkopt and her husband David of California and Valerie Etter of Colorado, her four brothers; Larry V. Thomas and his wife Geraldine of Arizona, Edward Sirrell of Wisconsin and Edward Hobson of Montana and Donald Sirrell, also of Wisconsin.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband; Perry E. Crockett and by her sisters; Glory Chaffee and Doris McNeil.

A celebration of life will be held at Joyce's nephew home, George Chaffee, 13A Kendall Pond Rd., Londonderry, NH on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
