Justin Alan Gillen, age 38, passed away at his home in Haverhill, MA on Monday, April 5, 2021 following a long courageous battle with cancer.  Justin was a 2001 graduate of Whittier Vocational High School.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and exploring the world while riding his motorcycle.  He also loved camping, was a huge Boston Bruins fan and he cherished his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his parents; Neil and Cheryl Gillen of Haverhill, by his brothers and their spouses; Nathan Gillen and Crystal Ayon of Sacramento, CA, Brian Gillen of Sacramento, CA and Steven and Mary-Anne Gillen of Haverhill, MA.  He is also survived by his two grandmothers; Evelyn Gillen of Franklin, MA and Janet O'Reilly of Rockland, MA,  by five nieces and nephews; Madison, Maaya, Leena, Neil and James and by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 12 at 11:00am in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, 96 Salem St., Haverhill.  For those wishing to honor his life donations may be directed in his name to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA 01843.
