Karin M. Gelinas, 56, of Salem, NH passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Lynn, MA, a daughter of the late Robert and Gail (Erekson) Kierstead and grew up in Salem.

Family was the most important thing in Karin's life.  Karin was kind, compassionate , smart and the most caring person anyone had ever met. She had worked as an LPN for nursing homes during her career after putting herself through nursing school at St. Joseph's.  She loved her pets and cared for all animals. Karin also loved the Patriots, the band Queen, good food, movies and fast cars.  She was also a trivia master, an extremely talented artist and an amazing cook.

She is survived by her two sons; Dennis M. Gelinas and his wife Ashley of Londonderry, NH and Justin T. Gelinas of Salem, by her grandson; Jacob Gelinas and by her two sisters; Kathleen Russman of Old Orchard Beach, ME and Kristine Houle and her husband Jason of Hampstead, NH.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews; Stephanie Fullmer of Keene, NH, Joshua Russman of Hampstead, NH, Emily Russman of Keene, NH, Kenny Houle and Macie Houle, both of Hampstead and by her former husband; Thomas Gelinas of Derry, NH.
