Krista L Simpson, age 60, of Derry, NH passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 8 ^th surrounded by her loving family after losing her long, courageous battle with cancer.

Krista was born in Methuen, MA to the late Edward Brady and Geraldine (Cormier) Brady Labonville. She grew up in Salem, NH and graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1979. Krista was a highly valued employee for 35 years working as the production supervisor for Klein Marine Systems, Inc. in Salem NH.

Krista's favorite things included spending time in nature especially at the beach or at the lake, bird watching, traveling including an occasional trip to the casino with her big sister and watching football. She was a devoted grandmother and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Michael of Derry, NH; her children, Megan Simpson of Derry, NH, Sean Simpson of Derry, NH and Ryan Simpson of Windham, NH; her step-daughter, Erin Bradley of Salem, NH; her siblings, Scott Brady of Colebrook, NH, Jeryl Sharpe of Salem, NH, Shawn Brady of Dunbarton, NH, Erin Brady of Derry, NH. Melissa Willis of Dunbarton, NH, Denise Clegg of Methuen, MA and Diane Feugill of Methuen, MA; her many beloved grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sister, Colleen Fancy.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 20th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
