Kyle Osmer, 33, of Salem, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer that began when he was just 10 years old. Despite facing repeated health challenges over more than two decades, Kyle lived with remarkable resilience, optimism, and an unwavering spirit that inspired everyone who knew him.

Born and raised in Salem, Kyle grew up surrounded by family and friends in the community he loved. He graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, a testament to his determination to pursue education even amid ongoing medical treatments.

Kyle found joy in life's simple and magical pleasures. He was a devoted fan of Scooby-Doo, sharing laughs over the gang's latest mystery. The world of Harry Potter held a special place in his heart, where he immersed himself in the stories of friendship, bravery, and wonder. He also cherished playing Animal Crossing, spending countless relaxing hours building his island paradise and tending to its virtual inhabitants.

An adventurous soul at heart, Kyle loved horseback riding. One of his most cherished memories was a trip to Myrtle Beach, where he soared above the ocean on a parasailing adventure—a thrilling experience that captured his love for trying new things despite any limitations.

Above all, Kyle was a passionate New England Patriots fan. His fandom reached its pinnacle through a once-in-a-lifetime Make-A-Wish experience: attending the Super Bowl when the Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers. Being there in person, surrounded by the excitement of the game and the team's victory, was a highlight he treasured forever.

Kyle is survived by his loving parents, Kathleen (Ferris) and Richard Osmer of Salem, NH, his brothers, Bradley of Salem, NH and Daylen and his wife Mae of NJ, his niece, Daphne and all those whose lives he touched with his quiet strength, gentle humor, and infectious enthusiasm. He leaves behind a legacy of perseverance and joy in the face of adversity, reminding us all to embrace life's adventures, big and small.

Kyle was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Virginia and Warren Ferris, Sr. and his paternal grandparents, Daniel and Leona Osmer.

Kyle will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the light he brought into the world. Rest in peace, dear Kyle—your story of courage and love will live on.

Visitation will be on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026 from 5-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home.
