L. Frank Carrier, 78, a longtime resident of Pelham, NH passed away on Tuesday, December 12th at St. Elizabeth's hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born and educated in Lawrence, MA, the son of the late, Agnes (Cyr) and Lucien Carrier. He graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1957. He served in the US Coast Guard. Frank retired from Lucent Technologies where he worked for over 40 years.
Frank enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, tinkering and taking care of his home and yard. He had a zest for life and a great sense of humor. Frank was an active member of St. Patrick's Church in Pelham and he was an usher at the 4:00 Saturday Mass.
Frank's family would like to thank the medical staff at St. Elizabeth's ICU for the wonderful care given to him during his stay.
Frank will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 55 years, Madeline (Bergeron) Carrier of Pelham, NH; his 4 children, Michael Carrier and his wife Paula of Pelham, Carleen Carrier and husband Mark Payne of North Port, FL, Daniel Carrier and his wife Lynn of Pelham, NH and Corina Cantin and husband Christopher of Newton, NH; his 3 grandsons, David Carrier and twins, Anthony and Nicholas Cantin and several nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Jaclyn Carrier, his two sisters and his four brothers.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 15th from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 16th at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 12 Main St., Pelham, NH. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery, Pelham, NH.
