Laurence M. Frazier, 88, of Salem, NH passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at his residence at Salem Woods. He was born in Millis, MA, a son of the late Charles and Rose (Nutting) Frazier.

Mr. Frazier proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He worked for many years in construction as a carpenter for Carpenter's Local #111. He loved to build things, anytime his wife needed anything, he'd build it for her. He even built the houses they lived in. Mr. Frazier also enjoyed gardening, watching the birds in the birdhouses he built for them and making others laugh, he was a joker and he loved his cat; Daisy. He was very comfortable being at home with his wife and family, loved his family, his kids and spending time with them. He also enjoyed helping his children and was always there for them to lend a hand.

He is survived by his four children; Sandra Olmstead and her husband Frank of Derry, NH, Shirley Gosselin and her husband Mark of Methuen, MA, Laurence B. Frazier of Derry and Rosemary Walsh of Winnisquam, NH. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, his sister; Wilna Heeks of California and by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years; Irene M. (Landry) Frazier in 2012, by his daughter; Ann Taylor and also by 13 brothers and sisters.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30am in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, 329 Main St., Salem.
