Lawrence A. Adams Jr., 82, of Salem, NH passed away on Wednesday, July 21 ^st at his home.

Lawrence was born and educated in Lawrence, MA the son of the late Alice (Pouliot) and Lawrence Adams, Sr. He graduated from Lawrence High School. Lawrence began his career working with sheet metal at Andrew Wilson in Lawrence, where he worked for many years. He later worked at Metal Tronics until his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, the NRA and a lifetime member of Pelham Fish and Game. Lawrence enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting and gardening.

He will be sadly missed by his six children, William Bourdelais of Derry, NH, Linda Adams of Londonderry, NH, Lawrence Adams, III of Salem, NH, Lisa Wells and husband Peter of Salem, NH, Lance Adams and wife Liz of Manchester, NH and Lee Adams and girlfriend Sarah Morgan of Exeter, NH; his 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Lawrence was predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy (Schiller) Adams and his sister, Shirley Matteo.

There are no calling hours. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 26 ^th at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main St., Salem, NH. Please arrive at church by 10:15 AM. The urn burial will be Wednesday July 28 ^th at 11:30 AM at Pine Grove Cemetery, 329 Main St. Salem, NH. Arrangements are under the care of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
