Lawrence W. Linehan, Jr., 61, of Salem, NH passed away, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, November 14, 2019 after losing his valiant battle with cancer.

He grew up in Methuen, MA the son of the late Florence (Shea) and Lawrence Linehan Sr. Larry graduated from Central Catholic High School. Larry was an entrepreneur and he founded Linehan Landscaping 20 years ago. He worked tirelessly to build a successful business and he had an unwavering commitment to provide for his employees. He continually modeled a conscientious and compassionate work ethic.

Larry had a zest for life and enjoyed spending his time outdoors, boating, snowmobiling and UTVing. Larry treasured his family and embraced every moment with them. He especially loved his role as Grampy. He had a vivacious personality and he was truly one of a kind. He will be forever loved and truly missed by those who knew him.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Linehan of Salem, NH; his beloved son and daughter-in-law Lawrence and Heather Linehan of Salem, NH; his stepchildren, Dawn Moccia of Hudson, NH and PJ Sedleski and wife Jenn of Methuen, MA; his sister, Jean Ann Linehan-Silva and her husband Donald of Wilton, ME; his granddaughter, Dylan Linehan and his grandsons, Ethan, Brady, Jackson and Ryan and his grand dog, Teddy.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 19 ^th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem.
