Leon "Don" D. Blazon, 81, of Salem, NH passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the Salemhaven Nursing & Rehab Center in Salem.  He was born in Lowell, MA, a son of the late Leon and Kathleen (Black) Blazon.

Don grew up in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School, Lowell Technical, and later from Tufts University.  He worked as a mechanical engineer for General Electric in Lynn, MA.  Don enjoyed traveling with his camper and taking motorcycle tours through multiple states. He was a member of the Retreads Motorcycle Club and the Romeo's Riding Club.  He particularly enjoyed his time with his grandchildren, and the laughter they shared.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years; Janet A. (Dube) Blazon of Salem, his daughter; Wendy Blazon of Haverhill, MA, by his three grandchildren; Nathan, Autumn and Alyre Blazon-Brown of Methuen, MA.  He is also survived by a sister; Kathleen Cochran and her husband Bruce of Arizona and a brother in law; Ray Jones of Dunstable, MA.  He was predeceased by his brother; Robert Blazon in 2015, and his sister; Jean Jones in 2018.
