Leonard Anthony Wilson, 60, of Londonderry, NH and former longtime resident of the Merrimack Valley area was surrounded by his loving family when he was called home to our Lord on October 25, 2018 after a long courageous battle with lung cancer.

He was born on October 29, 1957 to his supportive and loving parents the late Hubert "Lee" and Shirley (Paolino) Wilson of Lawrence, MA. He attended Lawrence Public schools until he proudly joined the Marines in 1974. During his time as an Active Duty Marine, he was stationed many places around the world as a Weapons Specialist and Marine Barracks Security. After completing many full time years, he joined the Marine Reserves and served throughout the Gulf War. Following his long-term duties in the military, he worked various positions in machine operation and held his own business in siding and painting for several years. Most recently, he held positions as Facility Maintenance Director in the long-term healthcare environment. He possessed incredible passion and drive in ensuring all residents and residents' families safety, comfort and happiness throughout each community.

Leonard had a loving compassionate soul which left an imprint on all whom he encountered. His favorite past times were being around the company of his family and friends, celebrating life and living in every single moment. He enjoyed his presidential seat in his living room watching all New England sports, recharging with music, spending time at the beach and expressing his overall optimistic attitude. He handled all situations in life with an open mind, excelled in learning, and shared his testimonies with all. He wore his Marine utility cover first, but his key legacy in his character as a father, husband, friend and mentor will forever be cherished by those who loved him. He will be truly missed by all.

Leonard is survived by his dedicated and loving wife, Brenda Rheaume-Wilson, his three loyal children, Jeremy Anthony Wilson and his children Lukas and Gavin and significant other Jennifer Gomez and her children Danny, Eric and Stephanie of Methuen, MA, his oldest daughter Shelenn Darby and her husband Braxton Darby and their children Jaelene, MaKayla, Bianca and Braxton Jr of Fort Lee, VA, and Brittany Wilson and her children Lillian, Sophia, and Reed and her significant other Zachary Sweeney of Queeche, VT. He was also beloved by his sister Dianne and her husband William Gilman of Derry, NH, mother-in-law Noreen Rheaume of Salem, NH, brothers-in-law John Rheaume and his wife Nancy of Derry NH, Patrick Curtin and his wife Jennifer of Cranford, NJ, Stephen Quinto and his wife Lisa of Nashua, NH, Daniel Quinto and his wife Veilka of Chandler, Arizona, Scott Quinto and his wife Christine of Windham, NH and his former wife Sheila Quinto-Truszkowski of Spring Lake, NC. He was also the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and also leaves several aunts and uncles.

Friends and family are cordially invited to visitation for Leonard on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home on 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10: 30 at Saint Joseph's Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH.
