Obituary

Lillian Croteau, 99, a longtime resident of Salem, NH passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 in the Morrison Nursing Home, Whitefield. She was born in South Lawrence, MA, a daughter of the late John M. and Irene (Bergeron) Bedard.

Mrs. Croteau grew up in South Lawrence and attended schools in Methuen, MA and Lawrence. She worked as a trimmer for Malden Mills. She loved to play cards and bingo.

She is survived by her sons; Roger Croteau and his wife Chris of Whitefield, Roland Croteau and his wife Linda of Bow, NH, Dennis Croteau and his wife Elizabeth of Salem and Wayne Croteau and his wife Tara of Methuen. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, by her brother; Robert Bedard of Florida, by two sisters; Terese Parent and Maryjane Pepin, both of Methuen and also by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Croteau and her son, Leo Croteau Jr.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 9:00am to 10:30am in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow and be celebrated Thursday at 11:00am in Mary Queen of Peace, 200 Lawrence Rd., Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, 329 Main St., Salem.
