Linda A. Yost, 75, of Salem, NH passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at her home.  She was born in Montgomery County, MD, the daughter of the late Charles L. and Annelore B. (Shanzenbach) Jones.

Linda lived in Annapolis, MD for most of her life and had moved to NH to be with her daughter, son in law and grandson.  She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park where she earned her Bachelor's degree in art and recreation.  Linda worked for over 30 years as a manager for Montgomery County MD Recreation Department. She loved all holidays, but Halloween was her favorite and Christmas a close second, she always enjoyed looking at Christmas lights every year and decorating for all holidays.  Linda loved craft fairs and was very artistic; she loved the ocean, particularly the sound of the waves.  She also loved desserts, was a devout Lutheran and was a lifelong advocate of disability rights.  Nothing brought her more joy than caring for those she loved and spending time with her family.

Linda joined a larger family when Carin married in and was accepted, loved and is now missed by the entire family. She is survived by her loving daughter; Carin Moriarty, Carin's husband, Paul and their son; Noah, who was the apple of her eye.  She was predeceased by her parents; Charles and Annelore Jones.
