Luigi Rabaiotti 78, of Salem, NH passed away in the early morning of June 16 2020, peacefully in the arms of his wife of 9 years Ana Barbosa, from complications of Parkinson's disease. He was born in Bardi Italy, on December 21 1941, son of the late Gabrielle Rabaiotti and Virginia Rabaiotti.

At the age of 32 Luigi's great talent as a master woodworker and craftsman, was noticed by one of Canobie Lake Park owners Mr. Berni and he was convinced to immigrate to the USA, to work as a carpenter at the Park, where he worked for most of his life,  and where he was well liked and respected by all. He used his fine skills and talent to help to make the park a beautiful place.

Luigi loved his hometown of Bardi in the Apennine Mountains of Italy, where he would visit often to see friends and relatives; he was even honored with a song written about him by a local songwriter.

He is predeceased by his parents, his brothers; Carlo Rabaiotti, Antonio Rabaiotti, Marino Rabaiotti and his sister Domenica Rabaiotti and survived by his wife; Ana Barbosa, his sister; Maria Rabaiotti Butti, his brother; Maurício Rabaiotti and many nieces and nephews. Luigi will always be remembered by his great sense of humor and mischievous smile, ready to sing and have fun with his family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  A combined Catholic and Protestant Funeral Service will be held Saturday, at 5:30pm in the funeral home during the visiting hours. The family would like to thank the staff of Amedysis who took care of him as he began his quiet journey to the end of his life.
