Margaret M. Duggan, 94, of Salem, NH passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center, Lawrence, MA.  She was born in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late William C. and Margaret (Costello) Quigley.

Margaret grew up in Boston and Medford, MA and graduated from Medford High School.  She earned her nursing degree from Northern Essex Community College.  Margaret then worked and provided care as a nurse at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home, where they would eventually provide care for her in her final years.  She was a former member of the Salem Women's Club and had been a volunteer at the Ingram Senior Center.  She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and exercising.

She is survived by her nine children; Patrick Duggan and wife Mary of North Carolina, Stephen Duggan of Salem, Frank Duggan and wife Nanci of Atkinson, NH, David Duggan of Colorado, Linda Grodberg and husband Marc of Atkinson, NH, Maureen Duggan of Seattle, WA, Edward Duggan of Connecticut, Jeanne Hein and husband Robert of Billerica, MA and Thomas Duggan and wife Paula of Bradford, MA.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and by her two sisters; Geraldine Quigley and Laura Blangeard, both of Dracut, MA.  She was predeceased by her husband; Paul V. Duggan, by two brothers; William and Michael Quigley and by her sister; Elizabeth Nourse.

Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  A funeral service will follow Friday at 12:00pm in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
