Margaret "Peg" M. Gaudet, 89, a longtime resident of Salem, NH passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 in the Salemhaven Nursing Home, Salem. She was born in Lawrence, MA a daughter of the late Leo Murphy and Maebelle (Burns) Jones.

Peg grew up in Lawrence, MA and graduated from St. Mary's High School in Lawrence. She worked as a circuit board assembler for Data Ed in Salem for 22 years. She enjoyed reading, embroidery, crocheting, gardening and watching television. Peg treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time outdoors with her family.

She is survived by her daughter; Nancy Boylan and her husband Patrick of Windham, NH, her three grandchildren; Eileen Dodson, Colleen Lane and Sean Boylan, her six great-grandchildren; Tessa Reinsma, Sarina Weaver, Nora Boylan, Noelle Fallin, Aida Boylan and Charlee Dodson, by her sister; Rosemary Parker of Salem, by a cousin; Barbara Brown of Atkinson, NH and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband; Wilfred Gaudet and by two brothers; Leo A. Murphy and William B. Jones.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, December 23, 2019 from 10:00am to 1:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A funeral service will follow Monday in the funeral home at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, 329 Main St., Salem.
