Margaret E. (Young) Krauss, 91, a lifelong resident of Salem, NH passed away on Friday, April 8 ^th at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA.

She was the daughter of the late Margaret (Chorley) and Edward Young. Margaret was a machine operator for AT & T in Haverhill for almost 34 years. She was a member of the AT & T Pioneers and St. Joseph Church in Salem.

She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Edward Krauss, her daughter Kathleen, and her siblings, Malcolm, Edward and Gladys.

She is survived by 2 grandsons, Danny and Shawn Kellett, her best friend Joyce Bloomquist; her good friends, William Turner and Ron Bourque and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be on Tuesday April 12 ^th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 10:30 AM  at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home.  Burial will be at 1:30 PM at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 111 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH.
