Marie A. Gillespie, 80, of Salem, NH passed away at her sister's home in Methuen, MA on August 20, 2022 following a long and courageous battle with PSP.

She grew up in Foxboro and Lawrence, MA the daughter of the late Mary (Campisano) and Joseph Perry. Marie graduated from Lawrence High School. Marie was a group leader for Raytheon in Andover, MA for many years. Marie loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and reading. Marie's family thanks her sisters Loretta, Betty and Elaine for the wonderful care and love they gave her.

She will be deeply missed by her 3 children, William Gillespie Jr. of Haverhill, MA, Timothy Gillespie of Andover, MA and Michelle Lewis of Derry, NH; her 3 sisters, Elizabeth Dumas of Fairhaven, VT, Loretta Verschaeve of Methuen, MA and Elaine Theberge of Methuen, MA; her 4 grandchildren, Phillip, Jenny, Joseph and Timothy; her 4 great grandchildren Parker, PJ, Gage and Daniel and many nieces and nephews.

Marie was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Marie Albert and her brother Joseph Perry Jr.

The family would like to thank Kathy of Beacon Hospice and Jen of Amedisys Hospice for the compassion and care they showed Marie.
