Marie D. Morris, 91 of Salem, NH passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA. She was born in Somerville, MA, the daughter of the late James and Laura (Cavazzoni) Covino.

She was a former resident of Melrose, MA before moving to Salem in 2004. Marie was an accountant for Arlington, MA school systems. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, winters in Venice, FL, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband of 66 years; Earl W. Morris in 2020 and by her son; David Morris in 2022.

She is survived by her loving daughter; Deborah Vibert and her husband Anthony of Wilmington, MA, her daughter-in-law; Nancy Morris of Methuen, her grandchildren; Anthony, Tyler, and Troy Vibert, Matthew and Christopher Morris, his wife Deborah, and their daughter Isabel, Marie's great granddaughter.

Marie will be fondly remembered as a kind, caring, and wonderful woman who will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:45am in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A funeral service will follow Saturday at 11:45am in the funeral home.
