Marilyn Chirichiello, 81, of Salem, NH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13th at Rockingham County Rehab and Nursing in Brentwood, NH.

She grew up and was educated in Somerville, MA the daughter of the late Mary and Thomas Punzo. Marilyn raised her family in Salem, NH. She had a successful career in real estate then went to work at Lucent Technologies where she stayed for almost 22 years. Marilyn loved cooking, singing and karaoke, ballroom dancing and gardening. She is world famous (at least to her family) for the best meatballs anywhere. The family will continue trying to match her cooking talent.

Marilyn will be deeply missed by her 3 children, Brian Chirichiello and his wife Patricia of Derry, NH, Stephen Chirichiello and his wife Elaine of Hampstead, NH and Michele Pierog and her husband Joseph of Chester, NH; her sister, Lorraine Giacalone of Salem, NH; her 9 grandchildren, Joseph, Karissa, Amy, Zachary, Jake, Samuel, Casey, Sofie and Simon, her great granddaughter, Greta and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Friday, November 22nd at 4:30 pm at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  Please arrive by 4:15 pm if planning to attend the service. Calling hours will follow from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Burial will be private for the family.

Marilyn was very charitable. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity or sing a karaoke song in her honor.
