Marion A. (Gagnon) Benoit, 91, of Methuen MA and formerly of Lawrence passed away peacefully Sunday, July 17 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill surrounded by her family.

She was born, raised and educated in Lawrence, MA. Marion graduated from Lawrence High School and the North Shore Babies' Hospital. Marion worked for many years at Wang Labs, Varian and BJ's.

Marion enjoyed traveling, trips to Foxwoods with her late husband and playing bingo at the Methuen Senior Center with her friend Barbara. The family would like to thank the staff at High Pointe Hospice House for the wonderful care they provided during her stay.

Marion leaves behind her 5 children, Rob Benoit and wife Donna of Hampton, NH, Dave Benoit of CT, Cindy Laroche and husband Bob of Bradford, MA, Kevin Benoit and wife Donna of Dracut, MA and Sandi Sciuto and husband Jack of Londonderry, NH; her 7 grandchildren, Brian, Jason, Sarah, Kerri, Amanda, Jesse and Samantha; her 7 great grandchildren, Aiden, Amelia, Jovie, Alyson, Mary, Logan and Brooke and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Robert Benoit, her mother, Alice (Hood) Gagnon and her brothers, Henry and Thomas Gagnon.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 22 ^nd at 11:30 AM at Bellevue Cemetery in the Barker St. entrance in Lawrence, MA. The Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St. Salem, NH is honored to assist the Benoit family with the arrangements.
