Marion Mailloux, 93, of Salem, NH passed away on Monday, March 31st, 2025 at Salemhaven Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem, NH.

Marion was born in White Plains, NY and grew up in Methuen, MA where she graduated from Edward F. Searles High School and Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing.  She started her nursing career with Lawrence General Hospital, then she moved on to work for Dr. McGovern's OBGYN office for more than 30 years and worked at a group home taking care of Janet Smith.

Marion loved going on dates with her husband Victor as well as doing embroidery and cross stitch.  She owned her own business called Cross Stitch for Christ.  She even created two cross stitch patterns of The Last Supper and The Shepard that were under patent.

Marion will be deeply missed by her daughter Marianne and husband Christopher Dobens of Merrimack, NH; her son Victor Mailloux III and wife Bette of Epsom, NH; her grandchildren Anna Dobens and Ian Arsenault; several nieces and nephews including Gerry Galarneau and wife Sally, Aimee Williams, Jeannine Nelson and several cousins.

Marion was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, her mother Josephine Weeks; Victor Mailloux, Jr.; her son Mark Mailloux; her sister Winnie Galarneau and her nephew Barry Galarneau.

Visiting hours will be held at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH on Thursday, April 10th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11th at CenterPoint Community Church, 101 School Street, Salem, NH at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, 327 Main Street, Salem, NH.
