Mary E. Amodie-Wenzel, 56, of Derry, NH unexpectedly on Friday, March 20 ^th at her home.

She was born and educated in Pittsfield, MA the daughter of the late Carolyn (Cullett) and Thomas Amodie. Mary was a jockey at Rockingham Park for many years. She later attended nursing school and worked as a traveling nurse for several agencies. Mary enjoyed crocheting and liked making hats and baby blankets. She loved playing with her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Raymond Wenzel of Derry; her two daughters, Andrea Rogers and her husband Dustin of Bennington, NH and Christine Wenzel and her fiancé Andrew Vatcher of Northwood, NH; her two brothers, Joseph Amodie of FL and John Amodie of Hampton, NH; her three grandchildren, Benjamin, Gavin and Mary Ann and several nieces and nephews.

Services are private for the family and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
