Mary V. Conte, 88, a three year resident of the All American Assisted Living of Londonderry, NH passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Lawrence, MA, a daughter of the late Jose and Maria Pacheco.

Mrs. Conte worked as an administrative assistant for the Salem, NH school district for over 20 years.  She enjoyed traveling, spending her winters in Florida and her summers in Wells, ME.  She was a light-hearted person, whose life revolved around her grandchildren, she loved doting on them.  Mrs. Conte was a volunteer at St. Anne Catholic Church in Hampstead.  She was also very active and enjoyed all the activities at the Vic Geary Senior Center in Plaistow, NH.

She is survived by her three sons; Enrico "Rick" Conte, Jr. of Holiday, FL, Kenneth Conte and his wife Tina of S. Weymouth, MA and William Conte, I and his wife Lori of E. Hampstead, NH.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren and a great-grandson.  She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years; Enrico "Henry" M. Conte in 2013 and also by a brother and two sisters.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00am in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, 89 Kent Farm Rd., Hampstead, NH.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to The Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road Waltham , MA .  The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff at The All American Assisted Living of Londonderry for the care and compassion shown to their mother.
