May LaFleur, 90, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, surrounded by her loving family.

She was raised in Lawrence, the daughter of the late Philip and Charlotte Corriveau. She worked for many years at Avco, London Fog then as a secretary and payroll clerk at Winfield Nursing Home until her retirement. May found joy in crossword puzzles, crocheting, and trips to Foxwoods with her brother Jim and sisters-in-law Sharon and Lorraine.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund LaFleur; her brothers Philip, Robert, and Thomas; and her sisters-in-law Janice LaFleur and Sharon Corriveau.

May is survived by her three children: son Kenneth of Florida, son David and his wife Patricia of Townsend, MA and daughter Patricia Lemieux and her husband Stephen of Epping, NH; her 8 grandchildren Kelley, Jeffrey, Chelsea, Alison, Julie, Stephen Jr, Adam, and Kimberly; her 5 great-granddaughters and one great-grandson on the way; her brother James Corriveau and sister-in-law Lorraine Corriveau, both of Methuen, MA and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, New Hampshire. The funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 6, at 10:30 AM in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home followed by burial of the urn in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
