Michael C. Trusty, 74, a longtime resident of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in San Francisco, CA, a son of the late Dan C. and Rosemary (Ross) Trusty.

Mr. Trusty served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy, having served aboard the USS Lloyd Thomas and he earned the National Defense Service Medal.  He earned his CPA from New Hampshire College.  Mr. Trusty worked for Anheuser Busch in Merrimack, NH for many years and in many capacities, retiring as a Warehouse Supervisor.  He was an active person throughout his life.  In his younger years he was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed hockey and volleyball.  He also loved spending time on his boat and enjoyed sharing his love of fishing with everyone he could.  Mr. Trusty also enjoyed mining for gemstones, scuba diving and was a fan of New England Patriots football.  His family meant the world to him but his grandchildren were the light of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years; Beverly A. Emmert-Trusty of Salem, by his two daughters; Dawn A. Trusty of Pelham, NH and Tracy Trusty-Neveu and her husband Michael of Salem.  He is also survived by his two grandchildren; Robert Neveu and Rose Neveu, by his brother; Patrick Trusty of Chester, NH and by many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his sister; Patricia Trusty.

Services and military honors will be held privately for the family.  In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed to the North Salem United Methodist Church Youth Fund, P.O. Box 206, North Salem, NH 03073 to help sponsor children to go to youth camp, something of great importance to him.
