Michelle E.
L'Heureux
d. Mar 15, 2024
Danville
Michelle L'Heureux, 63, of Danville, NH sadly passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Born in Methuen, MA, Michelle was the eldest of five siblings born to the late Raymond and Marie (Lafond) L'Heureux and graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1979. Michelle was known for her quick wit, infectious spirit, and her uncanny ability to pick out the perfect greeting card for any occasion. Michelle adored spending time at the beach, exploring new places, and most of all, being with her family. She was always there to lend a helping hand or to plan a memorable celebration at a moment's notice.
Beyond her family, Michelle had a big heart for helping others. She dedicated her time to working with the American Cancer Society, organizing Relay for Life events, and brightening the lives of children at St. Anne's Home in Lawrence, MA.
Left to cherish her memory are her partner, Charles Lesieur of Danville, NH, her children: David McDerby and wife Michelle of Antrim, NH; Kathryn Brady and fiancé Justin Kelly of Rochester, NH; and Laura Gearwar and husband Zackary of Dover, NH. Michelle's life was made even brighter by her five beloved grandchildren: Tyler, Camilla, Anastasia, Lyla, and Dunkhyn.
Michelle will be deeply missed by her mother Marie (Lafond) L'Heureux of Salem and her siblings; Jayne Donovan and husband Timothy of Methuen, MA; Claudine Donovan and husband Thomas of Salem, NH: and Raymond L'Heureux and partner Biagio Pizzolatto of Port St. Lucie, FL, as well as several nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Michelle was predeceased by her father Raymond L'Heureux and brother Jeffrey L'Heureux.
Though Michelle may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will continue to inspire us all.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 26th from 12:00 -1:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
