Nancy Wooles, 87, of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA. She was born in Cambridge, MA, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Whitehead) Dean.

Mrs. Wooles graduated from Lawrence, MA High School. She worked for Western Electric in North Andover, MA and Lawrence. She also worked in the cafeteria for the Methuen Middle School. She absolutely loved working with the students. Mrs. Wooles loved spending time with her family, especially going for long car rides and going out to dinners. She was very social and had many friends from her time working in the school system. She always had a smile on her face and was quick with a joke; she was a "little pistol."

She is survived by her son; Scott Wooles and his wife Beverly of Salem, her grandchildren; Cassandra Wooles and Ronald Wooles, III, by her great-grandson; Myles Macomber and by her brother; John Dean. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband; Ronald H. Wooles, her son Ronald H. Wooles, Jr. in 2019 and also by her two sisters; Cherie Hembrough and Patricia Wilson.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A private graveside service will be held for the family in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations,
