Patricia L. (Donovan) Motta, 50, of Salem, NH passed away at home on Wednesday April 17, 2019. Born and raised in Methuen, MA, she was the daughter of Jerome and Elizabeth (Dawson) Donovan of Methuen, MA. She was a graduate of Methuen High School and attended Northern Essex Community College where she earned her licensed practical nursing degree. She worked many years in the field of pediatrics as she enjoyed working with children and helping others. The nieces and nephews have fond memories of Patricia making visits to the pediatrician's office more comforting with her warm, loving care, and sense of humor. She enjoyed music, the beach, and taking pictures. She loved her children and life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Patricia is survived by her children, Nicholas C. Motta and Jacob P. Motta both of Methuen, MA; her sisters Elizabeth A. Faro and her husband Michael of Salem, NH; Jeanne M. Troy of Methuen, MA; Margaret Schmidt and her husband Mark of Merrimac, MA; brother Thomas E. Donovan and his wife Claudine of Salem, NH; and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was predeceased by her brother, Jerome J. Donovan III.

Memorial visiting hours will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A funeral service will follow Wednesday at 7:00pm in the funeral home.
