Patrick A. Traficante, 92, of Salem, NH passed away peacefully at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, NH surrounded by his family.
Patrick was born and educated in Lawrence, MA, the son of the late Judith (Lamio) and Joseph Traficante. He served his country in the US Army during WW II. Patrick was a supervisor for Symphonic Electronics and previously was a manger for Budweiser in Merrimack, NH.
Patrick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he was a very good cook. He loved all types of music and dancing. Patrick wrote poetry and his poetry was published in the Reader's Digest. He also loved dogs.
He will be sadly missed by his 3 daughters, Judith Carney and husband James of Hampton, NH, Lynda Bloom and husband Bryan of Lancaster, NH and Patricia Powers and husband Richard of Ashby, MA; his 3 siblings, Connie DeQuattro, Joseph Traficante and Rachel Lonardo, all of Methuen, MA; his daughter-in-law, Angela Traficante of Salisbury, MA; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Patrick was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Lorraine ( Koravos) Traficante, his son, Kevin Traficante and his grandson, Korey Traficante.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 15th from 9:30 – 11:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St. Salem, NH. Interment services with military honors will follow Friday at 2:30pm in the NH State Veteran Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
