Paul W. Donovan, 71, of Pelham, NH and formerly a long time resident of Windham, NH died Wednesday, February 28th at his home.

Paul grew up in Brighton, MA and graduated from Brighton High School, the Technical Institute of Boston and Suffolk University with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for various companies in the Merrimack Valley.

Paul enjoyed playing hockey, collecting Lionel trains and playing the banjo. During the bicentennial, he participated as a Minute Man in local reenactments.

Paul is survived by his wife Catherine (Qualey) Donovan of Pelham, NH; his son, Colin Donovan of Blackstone, MA; his sisters, Frances and Kathleen and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Brendan and his brother, Michael.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 4th from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will be Monday, March 5th at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. Burial is in New Plains Cemetery, Windham, NH.
