Paul T. Keogh, 67, of Danvers, MA passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Burlington, MA.  He was born in Lawrence, MA, the son of the late Walter T. and Barbara (Morgan) Keogh.

Paul attended the Beverly School for the deaf and later graduated from the Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School.  He worked in maintenance for the Lawrence Dept. of Public Works. He loved cars and had a natural ability to take things apart and put them back together again. In his younger years he loved attending the stock car races by both watching and participating in them.  In his later years he found enjoyment playing bingo and watching his beloved Red Sox. Socially Paul was very active within the deaf community and was also a member of Hope Congregational Church in Lawrence Mass. Paul loved spending time with family and friends and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his three sisters; Susan Gregory and her husband Richard of Salem, NH, Marsha O'Connell of Mt. Airy, MD and Ruth Burke and her husband Thomas of Groveland, MA. He also leaves behind two cousins; Betty Lumb and Mark Turton and a longtime friend; Alan Filmore of Watertown, MA.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and by many dear friends within the deaf community.  He was predeceased by his brother in law; Mark O'Connell and by his cousin, Lynne Pare.

Following cremation visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  A funeral will follow Tuesday at 3:00pm in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence at a later date.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Thompson House, 160 Water St., Danvers, MA 01923.
