Pauline E. (Caron) Dahood, 89, a lifelong resident of Salem, NH passed away on Friday, November 5th at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late Irene (Beaumont) and Raoul "Red" Caron. Pauline graduated from Woodbury High School. She was a hostess at Bishops Restaurant for many years. In her younger years, she loved entertaining her family and friends at her summer home at Salisbury Beach. She was a member of Mary Peace Church and she sang in the choir. Pauline was a talented crafter and she enjoyed sewing and making braided rugs. She also enjoyed riding her bike, traveling and she loved going to the beach and playing solitaire and Uno.
Pauline will be deeply missed by her five beloved children, Nancy Haley and husband Bill of Meredith, NH, John Dahood and wife Melanie of Salisbury, MA, Kelly Dahood and wife Karen of Salem, NH, Caron Dahood of Salem, NH and Christine Pelchat and husband Steven of Salem, NH; her brother, Daniel Caron and his wife Karen of Derry, NH; her 6 grandchildren, Kelly Marie, Jonathan, Naella, Sonny, Ana and Ally; her 5 great grandchildren, Hailey, Jaden, Oliver, Araya and Isabelle and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Kelly Dahood and her siblings, Lois Demaree and Roy Caron.
There is no visitation. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 9 th at 11:00 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd. Salem, NH 03079. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem. Memorial contributions in Pauline's name may be sent to Mary Queen of Peace Church. Please make checks payable to Saints Mary and Joseph.
