Ralph "Buddy" H. Frye, Jr., 87, a longtime resident of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the Maplewood Center, Amesbury, MA. He was born in Boston, MA, a son of the late Ralph H. Frye, Sr. and Phyllis (Merrick) Frye Tanguay.

Mr. Frye was a member of the Teamsters Union Local # 25 Boston, MA and had been a truck driver for Allied Automotive Group. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years; Carol A. (Gagnon) Frye of Salem, his son; Stephen Frye and his wife Terri of Salem, his daughter; Kathleen DeBlasi and her husband Carmine of Bedford, NH, his five grandchildren; Corey Cortez of Derry, NH, Cameron and Henry Frye, both of Salem and Cecelia and Dominic DeBlasi of Bedford. He is also survived by a sister; Virginia Salyards of West Virginia. He was predeceased by his sister; Marjorie Shaver.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 10:30am to 12:30pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A funeral service will follow at 12:30pm Thursday in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, 327 Main St., Salem.
