Raymond A. Pilvelis, 81 of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Salemhaven Nursing Home, Salem, NH. He was born in Lawrence, MA, a son of the Alfons and Mary F. (Stelmack) Pilvelis.

Mr. Pilvelis was a long time resident of Salem, NH, formerly of Lawrence, MA. He loved to garden and had a love for the local wildlife, and his dog, "Howie".

He is survived by his brother; Larry C. Pilvelis of Groton , NH, a nephew; Larry C. Pilvelis, Jr. and his wife Debra of Derry, NH, four nieces; Paula Allard and her husband Rick of Merrimack, NH, Lisa Lemieux
and her husband William of Salem, NH, Jennifer Chan and her husband Yuk of Wales, UK and Amy Rankins and her husband Donald of Andover, NH. He is also survived by a sister in law; Barbara Peabody of Billerica, MA, his good friend Marilyn Deyemond of Andover, MA and by six grand nephews and one grand niece and six great grand nieces. He was predeceased by his wife; Joan Pilvelis.

Private family services will be held. Internment will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
