Rita E. (Cotone) Hutchinson, 96, of Salem, NH died peacefully Monday, November 18, 2019 at her daughter's home in Delaware.

Rita was born and educated in Watertown, MA and she graduated from Watertown High School, Class of 1941. She worked in the accounting department at Raytheon for 27 years.

Rita enjoyed many years of travel and camping with her husband, and she spent her last years camping with Dan & Jeanette.  She was in her 90's and her favorite thing to do was 4-wheeling with Jeanette. Rita enjoyed sewing. It was her pastime and she was with the ladies at the Victorian Cupboard for 20 years.  She loved the ladies she sewed with each week and also her dear friend Judy DeAmicis. She had many friends in her Telfer Circle family.  She loved her time there especially their own little functions and she was always baking something sweet for their get togethers.

Rita will be sadly missed by her daughter, Carole Campano and husband Anthony of Bear, DE;  her six grandchildren, Mark Campano and his wife Suki, Phyllis Campano, Christopher Hutchinson and his fiance Holly Hoak,  Daniel Hutchinson and his wife Jeanette, Keith Hutchinson and his wife Jenn, Jullie Finn and her husband George; her 10 great grandchildren, and several loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gardiner Hutchinson and her son, Gardiner Hutchinson, and his wife Margaret (O'Sullivan).

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 24 ^th from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main St., Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
