Robert "Bob" E. Potter, Jr., 67, a longtime resident of Salem, NH passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at his home following a period of failing health.  He was born in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Robert E. and Shirley (Wilcox) Potter.

Bob proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Marines during Vietnam.  He later went to work for Malden Mills in Methuen, MA as a fabric inspector for a number of years.  A quiet man, Bob loved riding and working on his pride and joy, his beloved 1942 Harley Davidson motorcycle.  He also enjoyed music, played the guitar in his younger years and enjoyed spending quality time with his family.

He is survived by his three brothers; Ronald Potter and his companion Joan Finocchiaro of Lawrence, Scott Potter of Ocala, FL and Lewis Potter and his wife Heather of Rochester, NH, by his sister; Carol Sattley and her companion Joseph Gesmundo of Plaistow, NH, by several nieces and nephews and by his longtime best friend; Joe Lefebvre of Tewksbury, MA.  He was predeceased by his parents and by his brother; Kenneth Potter.
